Sean Driver
Founder, The Positive Place · Memphis Native
Sean Driver noticed Memphis needed more spaces where ambition and community could meet, so he built one. Through The Positive Place, he’s turned networking mixers, cultural events, and collaborative sessions into a growing platform for Memphis’s young professionals and creatives to connect, grow, and be seen. That’s soul as simple as making room for people to thrive, then watching what they build next.
Sean Driver Jr. is a proud Memphis native, and the platform he built, The Positive Place, is his answer to a gap he saw in his own community: not enough intentional space for people to grow. Through networking mixers, cultural events, and collaborative sessions, he’s spent years turning that idea into a real gathering point for Memphis’s young professionals and creatives.
His focus stays local by design: elevating Memphis talent, encouraging entrepreneurship, and proving what community-led innovation can do when it’s given room to work. Looking ahead, Sean wants to take The Positive Place beyond Memphis area codes, building a blueprint for culturally rich, economically empowering spaces in other cities that share this one’s spirit. But the model itself, people feeling seen, supported, and inspired to move with purpose, started here.
