Grammy-nominated Memphis artist GloRilla is adding tech founder to her résumé. On October 3, she launched GloVerse, an on-demand beauty marketplace that connects people with trusted, verified beauty professionals wherever they are.

The platform covers hairstyling, braiding, locs, barbering, makeup, nails, lashes, brows, skincare, henna and body art, and men’s grooming. Users can personalize their search by details like hair type and face shape, and the full app will let them choose whether to travel to a professional or have one come to them.
The idea came from her own life. While touring and traveling, GloRilla often struggled to find reliable beauty professionals in unfamiliar cities. “GloVerse was built from real life,” she told Forbes. Her goal is to help independent beauty professionals get seen without relying only on social media to find clients.
The beta web platform is open now, and the free iOS and Android app is expected by the end of 2026. Beauty professionals across the country can sign up to be onboarded, and fans and consumers can create profiles, secure their GloIDs, and share feedback. GloVerse was built in partnership with the venture and consultancy OUT.LI.ER.
