If you’re looking for fun things to do in Memphis this weekend, I’ve got just the ticket for you! It’s time to explore one (or more!) of the city’s best escape rooms. Known for being a fun adventure for friends, family and even colleagues, escape rooms make for an epic afternoon or night out.

Here are five of my favorite escape rooms in Memphis:

1. Memphis Escape Rooms

From 3 p.m. to midnight, this is the place to be. Memphis Escape Rooms offers mind-bending fun in nine different escape room experiences. It can host groups of up to 70 people at one time! Step into your own world of mystery and put your wits to the test. Allow 1 to 2 hours.

Location: 1010 June Rd., Suite 100, Memphis, TN 38119
Phone: 901-602-6372

2. Escapology

Escapology offers award-winning escape rooms for private teams of two to six players (or larger groups if you make reservations). Look for clues, solve puzzles and escape to freedom in 60 minutes! Escapology is open Wednesday through Sunday, and it offers some great twists on an already fun experience. See for yourself!

Location: 2845 Stage Center Cove, Bartlett, TN 38134
Phone: (901) 746-9257

3. I Escaped Memphis!

Offering various rooms with different levels of difficulty (from beginner to 5-lock), there is truly something here for everyone. Billed as “the ultimate escape room in Memphis,” I Escaped Memphis! lives up to the hype. “Branson Manor” and “Rest Easy Hotel” are two fan favorites. (To be sure, you’ll do anything but rest easy.) This escape room is open every day, but closed for corporate events. Call ahead.

Location: 5707 Quince Rd., Memphis, TN 38119
Phone: 901-321-5415

4. Breakout

You and your fellow captives wake up handcuffed and blindfolded in a strange room. You’ve been kidnapped, and you need to act fast. What do you do next? Not your average outing, Breakout Games Memphis offers different rooms with unique storylines and 60 minutes to crack the code. Bottom line: Expect a constant rush of adrenaline with this one. Open every day from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Location: 2965 N Germantown Rd., Suite 117, Memphis, TN 38133
Phone: 901-612-2740

5. Bluff City Escape Rooms

From a theater to a ship dungeon to a rabbit hole, this escape room offers it all. And, as an added bonus, Bluff City offers an EscapeLite program for children ages 3 to 6, so your kids can have their own scavenger hunt while you and your fellow escape artists do your thing. Since its opening times vary, it’s a good idea to call ahead.

Location: 6759 Stage Rd., Bartlett, TN 38134
Phone: (901) 384-1864

Bottom line: Some of America’s best escape rooms are now in Memphis. Do YOU have what it takes to escape?
