From TV show placements to touring with some of the biggest names in the history of the music industry, we are pleased to introduce you to a Memphis talent that you might not know is taking the country by storm in more than a few ways.

While Secrest has been gracing people with her vocals long before 2014, her debut song “Fearless” is responsible for her official push into the mainstream. The debut song speaks to exactly how the Billboard-charting singer has chosen to move in her career. Her work and movement in the industry prove that she is absolutely “Fearless,” as her debut single makes clear. Since then, she has attained a number of credits and accolades, earning herself a spot as a vocal arranger for some of the biggest artists and placements on some of the biggest television broadcast companies in the country. Her music and credits can be heard on shows such as “Shameless,” “Meet the Fosters,” “Good Trouble,” and even “American Crime.”

Furthermore, Secrest’s exceptional gifts have afforded her the opportunity to create a theme song and commercial campaign for JCPenney. Outside of being a go-to talent for soundtracks and commercials, Emi has also blossomed into a very successful solo artist with a dedicated following. Following 12 singles and 3 EP releases, she has received recognition for her work from some of the industry’s top institutions. Her accomplishments include her 2020 single “Yellow” peaking at number three on the Billboard charts, and her 2019 song “Push Ya“ reaching the Top 10 on Stevie Wonder’s radio Station. Not only does her work speak through her own releases, but other artists’ releases and projects as well. Emi is in high demand in the music industry as she works to develop the vocal aspects of artists’ music, as she has been doing for years now.

In addition to her own music, Secrest has served as a supporting vocalist for artists like John Legend, Christina Aguilera, Macy Gray, and Kanye West. Emi Secrest also made appearances on some of the top television talk shows in the nation, including “The Steve Harvey Show” “The De’Amelio Show.”
