Memphis International Airport has just landed another flight itâs been chasing for years.
The airport announced this morning, Dec. 16, that American Airlines will launch nonstop service between Boston and Memphis in June.
âBoston service is something that MEM has pursued for years, so this is a tremendous development for MEM and our passengers,â said Pace Cooper, chair of the Memphis-Shelby County Board of Commissioners. âWe know that passengers will welcome this addition to the market and are grateful to American Airlines for their continued expansion.â
The flight, between MEM and Boston Logan International Airport, brings Americanâs number of destinations from Memphis to nine cities.
