Hailing from the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Chattanooga, TN, Randy Steele is a career firefighter and an award-winning banjoist, guitarist and singer-songwriter who has opened for Sam Bush, Darrell Scott, Steep Canyon Rangers, Infamous Stringdusters, Kitchen Dwellers, Roger Alan Wade, and others. With three critically acclaimed albums under his belt, he's been featured by Relix Magazine, No Depression, and The Bluegrass Situation. He's a 2023 Kerrville Folk Festival Songwriter Finalist, American Songwriter Competition Finalist and New Song LEAF Songwriting Competition Finalist, and received an Independent Music Award for Bluegrass Song of the Year for "Mobile Soon."
