Springboard Festival is coming to Memphis! Artists and bands will be traveling from across the country to attend for the chance to network and learn from high-level music industry executives – but we’ve got a special opportunity only available to Memphis musicians. Amateur Night at the Apollo is one of New York’s most popular live entertainment experiences, attracting performers and audiences the world over. The classic competition is known for its notoriously “tough” audience, gleefully deciding who will “be good or be gone” to win the grand prize. The storied Apollo Theater has launched the careers of icons such as Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, James Brown and Lauryn Hill. Master the Music Business
We have different panels, presentations and pitch sessions designed to help you get to the next level. Experts in everything from marketing and touring to licensing and Social Media are flown in to the Band Bootcamp. All performers get to send their members to the conference for free.We will also have some master classes and workshops that are NOT required but will cost money to attend. These paid workshops will provide more personal and advanced information plus more time with mentors. If you have 100K twitter followers you may need to take one of the advanced social media workshops. These workshops are for more advanced artists that need more specific information and all the money goes to pay for the travel and hotel costs of the mentors.
