Stomping Grounds Is Bringing the Whole Family Back to Cooper and Central

Share

The old Railgarten site is turning into something new. Stomping Grounds, a family clubhouse in development at Cooper and Central, is taking the building’s history as an old ice house on a former rail yard and reimagining it into a space built for every member of the family, inside and out.

Local parents Andrew and Lindsey are behind the project, and it shows in the details: an outdoor playground, a live music space, a sensory play area, a self-serve tap bar for the grown ups, and an art room from official partner Art Project. One flat family membership covers every kid and every adult in the house.

Right next door is Wild Beet, already open and serving fresh salads, wraps, and paninis, the kind of food parents actually want to eat after a few hours of play.

Stomping Grounds is still in development, so keep an eye out for an opening date. In the meantime, share this with a Memphian who needs to have this spot on their radar!
