Tiger fans can keep their dials right where they are. The University of Memphis has announced a new multi-year agreement keeping Cumulus Media Memphis as the exclusive radio home for Tiger football, men’s basketball, and women’s basketball.

The broadcasts, along with the football and men’s basketball coaches’ shows, will continue to air on News Talk 98.9 The Roar of Memphis (WKIM-FM). The deal comes through Tiger Sports Properties, the locally based Learfield team that has handled the program’s multimedia and sponsorship rights for 25 years, as reported by the Memphis Business Journal.

Beyond the play-by-play, the partnership brings promotional support, weekly features, and more chances for fans to connect with coaches, players, and the program all year long.

“News Talk 98.9 The Roar of Memphis gives us a powerful platform to tell the story of our student-athletes, coaches, and programs while helping unite our university, our city, and our supporters,” said Tiger Sports Properties general manager Greg Gaston.
