For two Memphis schools to make that cut in the same year says something about the strength of higher education happening right here in the city, from Rhodes’ liberal arts foundation to Christian Brothers’ Lasallian, career-focused approach.
The recognition puts both campuses in the company of some of the most respected liberal arts and business-focused institutions in the country, and it’s another data point in a growing case that Memphis higher ed keeps showing up on the national stage, not just locally.
