Memphis-based Universal Commercial Real Estate is stepping onto the global stage after joining TCN Worldwide, an international alliance of independent real estate firms spanning more than 200 markets.
The partnership makes Universal Commercial the first Memphis-based firm to join the network—opening the door to new national and international opportunities while elevating the city’s presence in the commercial real estate space.
Founded in 2007 by Darrell Cobbins, the firm has built a strong reputation across the Mid-South, providing brokerage, advisory, and consulting services for investors, developers, and property owners.
Now, with access to TCN’s global network, the company is positioned to connect clients to opportunities far beyond Memphis—while also attracting new investment into the local market.
Company leaders say the move strengthens their ability to support both local businesses looking to expand and national clients seeking opportunities in Memphis. It also creates a pathway for increased visibility, resources, and long-term growth.
The partnership comes as Universal Commercial looks to expand its footprint across Tennessee and grow its client base to include more institutional investors and national firms.
Leaders say the milestone represents more than growth for the company—it’s a moment to spotlight Memphis as a competitive player in the global real estate market.
