Something big is opening on the riverfront! The Memphis Flyway, a 218-foot observation deck on the south end of Tom Lee Park, officially opens June 12, and it’s about to become one of the most talked-about spots in the city.

Perched over the Mississippi River and fully ADA-accessible, the Flyway gives every Memphian a front-row seat to the view that defines this city. The Memphis River Parks Partnership expects more than 1 million visitors to make the trip each year.

The $10.4 million project was designed by Studio Gang and SCAPE, the same firms behind Tom Lee Park’s celebrated 2023 transformation, and built by Memphis-based Montgomery Martin Contractors.

Mark your calendar for June 12th. The river will be waiting for you and your crew!
