Grizzlies Prep has officially opened the doors on its new campus in South Memphis, giving the growing charter school more room to expand its STEM programming.
The school, which carries the Memphis Grizzlies name and mission into the classroom, has built its reputation around pairing rigorous academics with the kind of hustle and teamwork the Grizzlies brand is known for around the city. A larger campus means more lab space, more classrooms, and more room to grow the STEM focused curriculum that’s become central to the school’s identity.
The move gives students a fresh home base built with those ambitions in mind, and it’s another sign of momentum for one of the city’s fastest growing charter schools, which has continued to expand its footprint as demand for seats has grown across Memphis.
For a school built on the idea that where a student starts doesn’t determine where they finish, a bigger campus is more than square footage. It’s room to keep proving that point.
