Memphis travelers now have a new way to reach the Big Apple. Delta Airlines has officially launched a daily nonstop flight between Memphis International Airport (MEM) and New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK).
This new route not only makes it easier for Memphians to tap into the business, cultural, and international opportunities New York offers, but also strengthens Memphis’ position as a connected and thriving city.
Delta’s addition brings its total number of nonstop destinations from Memphis to nine, including Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Detroit, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, New York (LaGuardia), and Salt Lake City.
New York City is already Memphis International Airport’s second-largest market, with an average of 352 passengers traveling between the two cities every day. The JFK nonstop flight makes those trips smoother and opens the door for more visitors, more business, and more cultural exchange between Memphis and one of the world’s most iconic cities.
From Memphis to the world — this new connection is another reason to be proud of how our city is growing.
