Cafe Lit aims to be Downtown restaurant, cultural hub

Intention is the core of what Cafe Lit is about.

Every detail in the business has a purpose. There’s a resolve behind it. And it will be up to the guests if they want to fully embrace everything the hybrid restaurant and entertainment venue will have to offer.

“I want to be unapologetic in what we present,” Hulesy Britt said.

Britt, who came up with the restaurant concept for Cafe Lit, is partnering with the building’s owner Frankey Anderson. The pair wants to transform 111 Madison Ave. into a cultural destination.
