Live music in Memphis is about to have a new home. Satellite Music Hall, opening at Crosstown Concourse in September 2026, has announced its inaugural season lineup and it opens with hometown favorites The Band Camino.
The opening season lineup:

- September 4 and 5: The Band Camino
- September 17: Valerie June
- September 26: Project Pat
- October 12: Modest Mouse
- October 27: Iron and Wine
- November 4: Prof
More shows will be announced on a rolling basis across indie rock, folk, hip-hop, R&B, and electronic. Beyond concerts, the venue will host comedy, community events, and special programming. One of its most meaningful commitments is a partnership with Stax Music Academy, offering local students hands-on apprenticeship experience in the live music industry. The venue will also create more than 150 permanent jobs with base pay starting at $20 per hour.
Crosstown CEO Todd Richardson called it the high-quality venue Memphis has always deserved. With the Hi Tone two blocks away and Crosstown Arts already anchoring the neighborhood, the Crosstown district is becoming a live music hub with shows nearly every night. Memphis has always had the music. Now it is building the infrastructure to match it.
