Indigo Ag

2020 Best Places to Work honoree, Large Category (150+ employees)

When asked for three words that describe the company’s culture, Indigo Ag’s junior people business partner Julia Johnson drills down on one: innovative.

Innovation, after all, is the name of the game at Indigo Ag, the agriculture-technology startup that fights climate change through sustainable farming practices.

How that trickles down to the company’s employees is almost old-fashioned.

“At Indigo, our culture is built on our core values, and we make a point to live those values every day,” Johnson said. “One of our core values is that we will treat others with honesty, respect, transparency, and integrity, and when we relate to our employees, we always consider these values. One example of how we are committed to being respectful and valuing our employees is by promoting an inclusive environment for all employees to feel valued and supported.”
