For Hispanic Heritage Month, we want to highlight some of the amazing Latinx-owned businesses in this great city. Memphis is brimming with diversity, and that’s always present in the small, local businesses that are around town. With Hispanic Heritage Month going until October 15th, there’s plenty of time to stop by these amazing businesses and lend your support. Be sure to check them out!
Primas Bakery + Boutique
Primas Bakery + Boutique is a unique, two-for-one business that is comprised of RM Petit Cakes and ShopMucho. Stop by to snag some scrumptious treats and shop for clothing, accessories, and other goodies from local makers!
Mi Tierra Restaurante
For Colombian recipes and Mexican cuisine, Mi Tierra Restaurante has it all! If you’re looking for some authentic flavors, you’ll definitely want to try this restaurant. They’re open from Tuesday through Sunday, and be sure to visit them on a night they have entertainment!
La Michoacana
If you live in Memphis and aren’t aware of La Michoacana’s delicious paletas and popsicles, you’re truly missing out. From traditional flavors to unique offerings, there’s no better way to cool off from the Memphis heat. (They even have dairy-free options!) You can their products at one of their locations or in-stores around the 901.
Good Fortune
In the mood for scratch-made noodles and dumplings? Good Fortune Co. is the place to go. You can even get half-price sake carafes and masu every Sunday. They’re downtown near Beale, so stop by while you’re in the area!
Soccer City 901
Soccer City 901 is a sports restaurant, bar, and grill perfect for watching the game or catching up with friends. They also have foosball tables, outdoor turf fields, and patio entertainment. Bring the family along for good food and good fun!

Latino Memphis
This nonprofit works with Latinx-Memphians by connecting, collaborating, and advocating for health, education, and justice. You can donate or volunteer at their website or check out their events to find other ways you can get involved.
