This fall, Memphis will take center stage as a hub of innovation, culture, and collaboration with the launch of the DelTech Conference, a new two-day event presented by Epicenter. Scheduled for October 8–10 at Epicenter’s Downtown Memphis headquarters, the conference aims to connect entrepreneurs, investors, and institutions from across the Delta region.
Epicenter, a Memphis-based nonprofit recognized for supporting local entrepreneurs through accelerator programs and business resources, is expanding its impact with this inaugural event. DelTech is designed to spotlight the ingenuity of Memphis and Delta-based talent while celebrating the rich cultural heritage that sets this region apart.
“DelTech Conference was born out of the idea that culture fuels innovation, and Memphis is the epicenter for that in the Delta region,” said Anthony Young, Epicenter’s president and CEO.
The conference will feature keynote speakers, panel discussions, a startup pitch showcase, and interactive workshop sessions—all crafted to inspire action, forge new relationships, and spark long-term collaboration. From tech innovators and college students to institutional investors and regional leaders, DelTech will be a powerful gathering place for those driving change.
While open to the public, the event is especially geared toward tech-focused entrepreneurs, HBCUs and other higher education institutions, startup hubs, and investors interested in shaping the future of the region.
“Everyone will leave the conference with a better understanding of how much is happening in Memphis and the Delta,” said Young. “We want people to leave inspired and eager to get involved in building an innovative, inclusive economy.”
More than a business event, DelTech reflects a growing movement in Memphis to lead through creativity, connection, and cultural authenticity. Epicenter hopes the conference will also spark stronger collaboration between higher education institutions and entrepreneurship centers across the Delta—laying the groundwork for Memphis to continue rising as a national leader in cultural and economic innovation.
Programming details and speaker announcements are expected in the coming months.
For those who believe in Memphis, DelTech is more than a conference—it’s a call to action.
