The Memphis International Airport has put out a Request for Qualifications (RFP) for a continuation of its Terminal Modernization and Seismic Program (TMSP). It proposes a multiyear, multiphase timeline with a price tag well above the recently completed modernization of Concourse B.
The RFQ details seven future potential packages to renovate Memphis International’s (MEM) terminal, which could total $700 million to $800 million (including escalation and inflation). It focuses on three core packages that would cost $300 million to $400 million. The RFQ describes the $245 million renovation of Concourse B, which opened in early 2022, as Phase I of the TMSP.
