About the Rankings
Recognized as the ultimate measure of corporate reputation, the Fortune “World’s Most Admired Companies” list has highlighted industry-leading businesses since 1997. The ranking process, conducted in partnership with Korn Ferry, starts with approximately 1,500 candidates—the largest U.S. companies by revenue, plus non-U.S. firms from the Fortune Global 500 with revenues of at least $10 billion. This group is narrowed to 650 top-performing companies across 30 countries.
Executives, directors, and analysts from these companies then assess their peers within the same industry based on nine criteria. Only those ranking in the top half of their industry make the final list.
FedEx’s continued presence among the world’s most admired companies underscores its commitment to excellence, innovation, and global impact.
