Memphis continues to grow as a logistics and life sciences hub — and Chicago-based Eversana is doubling down on that momentum.
The global pharmaceutical logistics company has officially opened a new 358,000-square-foot distribution center right here in Memphis, boosting its total footprint in the region to an impressive 1.25 million square feet. That’s more than a milestone — it’s a signal of trust in the city’s infrastructure, workforce, and economic potential.
With this latest addition, Eversana now employs 530 Memphians — up from around 400 this time last year. The growth reflects not only new hiring for the state-of-the-art facility, which includes 30,000 square feet of refrigerated and frozen storage, but also expansion across its other Memphis operations on Mendenhall Road and Challenge Drive.
Eversana specializes in third-party logistics (3PL) for pharmaceuticals, biologics, and medical devices — meaning its work helps deliver essential treatments to people around the world. And it’s choosing Memphis as a key distribution point to do just that.
Thanks in part to a 15-year PILOT (payment-in-lieu-of-taxes) incentive from the Economic Development Growth Engine (EDGE) for Memphis & Shelby County, Eversana committed to retaining more than 300 local jobs and adding at least 50 more. So far, they’re ahead of the curve.
With steady job growth, ongoing investment, and a presence in one of the nation’s top distribution markets, Eversana’s expansion is a testament to what’s possible when global industries see the power of the Bluff City.
Memphis moves medicine — and we’re just getting started.
