MEM helps elevate Memphis musicians’ careers by making you an ambassador to the city. You’ll help make Memphis a city of choice for musicians, artists, and creatives. Take pride in knowing your sound will help elevate our national and international brand as a contemporary music city!
Interested in joining the program? Here are some qualifications before you’re eligible!
- The artist must reside in the Greater Memphis area, defined as Memphis + 25 miles
- The artist must record music in Memphis
- The artist must be either a permanent resident or a college student with secondary residence
- For bands, a significant percentage of total band membership should meet residency requirements
- Must have 5 or more tour dates, with 60% of dates outside the state of Tennessee.
