About This Event
Our Thin Slice, a modern fusion concert on Tuesday, April 8th by Freedman Steorts, Memphis Trombonist.
Our Thin Slice is a journey through all styles of modern trombone music including jazz, rock, and interstellar funk. Special musical guest is Memphis band FreeWorld, the current longest running band on Beale Street, is the groovy vehicle taking the audience on this trip.
Get up and get ready to experience an explosive look at the range and history of the trombone sound and to examine the meaning of our fleeting time together.
This event is given as partial credit towards a degree from Visible Music College in Downtown Memphis. Freedman is guided by Kirk Whalum.
