2023 Summer Showcase Series – Deanna Dixon w/ Broke Tall Folk

About This Event

We would like to introduce our first Summer Showcase Series—an ongoing fundraising event spanning across 10 weeks (5/11-7/13) every Thursday to be held at Rockhouse Live Midtown. Each week we will feature a local, up and coming musical artist from the Memphis area spanning across various genres.
For our first act on May 11th— we will feature @deannadixonmusic w/ @broke.tall.folk_band.

“The goal of our series is to not only help present local talent and provide artists a place to come together to network w/ other local musicians, but also to act as an ongoing fundraiser. By pooling cover charges collected each week at the showcases, we will be able to create a fund that will go directly toward paying any musician we book to play at the festival at the end of July. This will help ensure that we are able to continue booking quality acts, while also supporting local musicians every week up until the event. And by ‘paying it forward,’ many of the artists we showcase during the week will likely end up being booked to play in the larger festival in some capacity.” - Christina Rick
