Memphis Medical District Collaborative was launched in 2016 to enhance public spaces and help strengthen the neighborhoods in and around the Medical District, home to world-class hospitals and institutions of higher learning. Itâs comprised of eight of the districtâs anchor institutions, who share economic and community development goals.
The District has more than 24,000 employees and students and more than 10,000 residents, and thereâs a growing demand for new office, retail and residential options. People are attracted to the Districtâs diverse neighborhoods, such as The Edge, Victorian Village, Uptown, and Peabody-Vance.
