Soul is with Shavéh

Our billboards are all across the city, shining a spotlight on Memphians who inspire our souls every day. Among these folks is Shavéh, a courageous Memphian bringing her soul to what she’s passionate about.

When asked what “soul is courage” means to her, she says, “Soul is courage to me means being unapologetic about sharing your truth and story. It takes courage to share soul because it will not be accepted by everyone.”

Shavéh brings her soul to what she’s passionate about by trusting her talent, gifts, and leaning into her inner strength. She says when this is done correct, it unleashes the soul in her craft.

“The people, soil, and legacy makes Memphis soulful.”
