The Mississippi River is about to become a whole lot healthier thanks to a $16 million federal grant awarded to restore wetlands at Ducks Unlimited Park at Big River Crossing.⁠

This project will create a destination park with a purpose, improving flood protection, and wildlife habitat, and offering even more opportunities for outdoor recreation. Big win for Memphis & West Memphis! ⁠

New Mayor Paul Young has done just that, creating the new Black Mayors’ Coalition.
