Two of Memphis’ most iconic landmarks are earning national acclaim. In Tripadvisor’s 2025 Travelers’ Choice Best of the Best Awards, Sun Studio and Graceland were named among the top attractions in the country—cementing Memphis’ status as a must-visit destination for music lovers and culture seekers alike.
Sun Studio claimed the No. 3 spot on Tripadvisor’s list of Best Things To Do: Top Attractions—ranking ahead of New York City’s Central Park (No. 4). Graceland, the legendary home of Elvis Presley, also earned a spot in the top 25, coming in at No. 23. The Empire State Building landed at No. 2, while the NASA Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex took the top honor.
Known as the birthplace of rock ‘n’ roll, Sun Studio continues to captivate visitors from around the world. Tripadvisor reviewers praised the experience, saying:
“Walk through the same rooms where legends recorded some of their biggest hits, with guides who keep the tour packed with cool stories. The vibe is relaxed, you get to check out rare memorabilia, and there’s just enough history mixed with humor. Even if music’s not your biggest interest, you’re bound to find it pretty interesting.”
Graceland, meanwhile, earned praise for its interactive exhibits, including audio and video tours and Elvis’ private jet collection. Tripadvisor also recommended rounding out the experience by exploring more of Memphis’ Elvis-inspired sights throughout the city.
The annual Travelers’ Choice Awards recognize the top-rated attractions across Tripadvisor’s 8 million listings, based entirely on real traveler reviews and experiences over the past year. Only 1% of all listings earn a spot on the Best of the Best list.
Earlier this year, Memphis was also recognized as one of Tripadvisor’s top U.S. destinations, further proving what locals have always known: this city is overflowing with culture, soul, and unforgettable stories.
And with hometown legends like Elvis and world-changing spaces like Sun Studio leading the way, it’s no surprise that Memphis continues to shine on the national stage.
