After breaking ground in 2020, the Memphis River Parks Partnership have kicked off the Tom Lee Park renovation. Slated for completion in 2023, the renovations will transform the space into a reinvigorated and vibrant social hub. The new park will feature spaces and structures designed to facilitate play, social mixing, small-scale events, nature and recreation. A key connector of riverfront parks and trails, the Mississippi River Park project is estimated to cost around $65 million and is expected to take a little more than two years to complete.
