On Friday, May 26th join @aapiheritagemonthmemphis at Comeback Coffee @comeback.coffee where they'll be screening the award-winning history-making Everything Everywhere All At Once! Doors open at 6:30pm, show starts at 7:30pm.⁠

And close out the month on Wednesday, May 31st at 5pm at @inkwellbar to grab a glass - or two - and cheers to a month of celebration and making new friends!⁠

Back in 1978, Memphis in May brought joy to BBQ enthusiasts by launching the very first Memphis in May World Championship Barbecue Cooking Contest. The event took place on a vacant lot by the Orpheum Theater and only 20 teams participated. But as the news spread, more pitmasters became interested in taking part. USAToday has now recognized it as the “Most Prestigious Barbecue Contest" - held right here in the City of Soul.⁠
