On that Grind: Grind City Xpo 2021

If you haven’t bit hit by Memphis’ coffee wave, this year is a good year to get with the program! The Grind City Coffee Xpo is BACK! The event returns on November 6 at the Wiseacre HQ (Downtown) and it’s ready to give you a taste of our city’s stellar coffee culture.

Started by Daniel Lynn and Rachel Williams, the Xpo isn’t just about celebrating coffee–it does so in an inclusive environment that fosters community over competition.

If you know anything about our city’s entrepreneurs, you know that they’ve got a serious amount of passion and dedication to their craft. With the insane amount of creativity (and deliciousness) these brewers’ have got going on, you’re sure to taste the love they put into their products!

This is the event’s second year and, with over 500 guests attending in 2019, this year is sure to be even bigger! With more than 11 coffee and tea vendors sharing their products, the Xpo is the perfect opportunity to connect with some of the city’s greatest artisans as well as makers, roasters, and brands from across the country.

So what can you expect from the Xpo?

  • Samples of amazing brews from each vendor
  • Demonstrations of brewing processes (pour over, latte art, and more)
  • Treats from local shops
  • GCX sample mugs from Belltower Coffee
  • And so much more!

Sure, that Memphis grit and grind mentally makes for some amazing creations, but Memphians know that we’ve got a little something extra for making the best local drinks! Our amazing water is key to making some of the most delicious beers, spirits, and, of course, coffee! Without our aquifer, our local coffee artisans wouldn’t be able to brew their top notch cups of joe. The Xpo’s doing their part by committing proceeds from the event to Protect Our Aquifer!
