Three 6 Mafia, Memphis Grizzlies Collaborate on New Merchandise

The local internet was buzzing this week when the first images of the Three 6 Mafia X Grizzlies collaboration dropped this week, and for good reason. Of course any pairing of these two institutions would be exciting, but it certainly helped when the products proved to be among the most clean designs ever created. In addition to the signature jersey, there are also hats, sweaters, and t-shirts emblazoned with the “When the Smoke Clears” album design combined with the throwback Vancouver Grizzlies motif. Young Dolph Memorialized in Rolling Stone

Few local stories have been as tragic as the untimely death of superstar rapper Young Dolph, who was primed to be Memphis’ next great musical star before his murder in November of last year. This week, Rolling Stone took an in-depth look at the artist’s life, giving insight into his philanthropy, music, and deep sense of community. It’s a fitting tribute to a beloved star taken too soon.
