The band Lucero once sang “Cory Branan's got an evil streak/and a way with words that'll bring you to your knees.” Safe to say that that’s a common opinion from folks who have heard any of Cory’s six records, including the latest, When I Go I Ghost. Each song is a tale in its own right, with characters you’ve met before in that all-night diner or dirty dive bar.
