Join us for a special happy hour conversation and Q&A with legendary hip-hop, R&B, and jazz producer Easy Mo Bee.
The Brooklyn native has worked with artists as diverse as Big Daddy Kane and Miles Davis, and is best known for his landmark production work with The Notorious B.I.G. and 2Pac. In 2003, he won a GRAMMY for his work on Alicia Keys’ second album, The Diary of Alicia Keys.
James (IMAKEMADBEATS) Dukes, Producer, Founder and CEO of UNAPOLOGETIC, will interview Easy Mo Bee.
Following the program, head down to Central Station for Easy Mo Bee’s DJ set in the hotel bar, Eight & Sand.
Soul & Spirits Brewery will be on hand to pour “Green Onions,” a beer specially created for the Stax Museum’s 20th anniversary.
