Top Apartments to Consider in 2019

Are you apartment hunting? Perhaps you’re not currently, but you will be in the near future. Maybe you’d like to move into one of the newer locations around town? Well, there’s no shortage of apartment options available in Memphis. It can be a bit tricky to know exactly which of the apartments works best and what is available. To help, here are some of the top apartments in Memphis to consider this year.

The Edge of Germantown Apartment Homes

This apartment community has a perfect 5-star rating on Google (out of 34 current reviews). As the name suggests, it is located right on the edge of Germantown. It also comes with a number of amenities, including a fitness studio, picnic area, tennis court, and clothes care center — plus pets are welcome. It also allows for online payments, has a swimming pool and access to Shelby Farms Green Line. There are both one- and two-bedroom floor plans.

Gayoso House

This apartment community is located right in the heart of downtown and gives you the kind of access you might like if you want to easily walk to everything downtown Memphis has to offer. Nearly every apartment is unique, and there are over 32 unique floor plans. As the Gayoso House was originally a hotel (Gayoso Hotel) that ran from 1842 to 1948, the main draw to the apartment is the building itself.

Some of the community amenities for this apartment includes a fitness center, storage space, rooftop access, laundry facility, both detached and onsite parking, ceiling fans, fully-equipped kitchens, plus an onsite security team. The apartment is cat-friendly.

The Tennessee Brewery

The Tennessee Brewery building is over 125 years old, so much like the Gayoso House you’ll have architectural interest in the building and most units do feature unique design elements you’re not going to find in other buildings.

This building has both one- and two-bedroom units. Some of the community amenities include a private courtyard, greenspace, fitness facility, 351 covered parking spaces and access to Butler Park. Each unit has gourmet kitchens with granite countertops, a washer and dryer included, wood-style flooring, 9 to 10 foot ceilings in the new construction areas, plus expansive closet space.

Pets are welcome (both cats and dogs) at The Brewery, however, there are a handful of restricted dog breeds. You will want to contact the property for information on restricted breeds.
