Year to Volunteer

Year to Volunteer is Volunteer Odyssey’s response to the National Civil Rights Museum call to action of “Where do we go from here?” This year-long initiative launched April 5th, 2018 and concludes with Memphis’ Bicentennial in May 2019 to mobilize and foster a lasting culture of volunteerism in our City of Service. The goal is to engage 10,000 volunteers, generate 85,000 hours of service and generate more than $2 million in economic impact.

Volunteerism is part of the heart that connects Memphians to the city, to their neighbors, and to future successes. Volunteering is a way for individuals to give from where they are with whatever they have — if you’re passionate about art, helping youth, keeping our city beautiful or working with homeless populations, Volunteer Odyssey can help you find your ideal volunteer experience.

To get started, visit www.volunteercompass.com, where you can search by cause, organization, or use the calendar view to find a volunteer experience that fits your schedule. We have hundreds of opportunities every month that need a great volunteer – like you!
